Scarlet Expanse is a 40 x 50 cm acrylic artwork created through an intuitive and expressive process. It captures a calm moment by the water, with gentle waves washing onto the shore and the beach stretching out into the distance, drawing you in and inviting you to slow down.

The sky glows in a bold, vibrant red, with that warmth reflected across the surface of the water. Layered texture and loose, expressive brushwork give the piece a sense of movement and feeling, more about emotion than a specific place. Scarlet Expanse is about presence, warmth, and that quiet pause you feel when you stop and really take in what’s around you, bringing colour and calm into your space.

Red was chosen intuitively and emotionally. For me, it represents life, energy, love, and the raw pulse that runs through us all. It carries warmth and intensity but also comfort, like the feeling of being fully present in a moment.
