This piece came from an urge to explore something rougher and more raw. I was drawn to the textures and imperfections of industrial sheet metal, the hard lines, worn surfaces, and the beauty that shows up when things aren’t polished.
Working mostly in blues and blacks, I focused on layering and texture, letting the surface build up and speak for itself. Scratches, marks, and depth all play a part. It’s not about perfection, it’s about character and weight.
For me, this work sits in that space between strength and stillness. It carries a solid, grounded energy, something that feels modern and tactile, but also honest. A piece that doesn’t need to shout, it just holds its space.
