This was initially an intuitive exploration with warm pastel colours. As the layers developed, the formation of the shoreline developed. Seems I am constantly drawn the water with my art.
The addition of the oil pastel lines was a last minute impulse. I wanted to portray movement and energy somehow. I was quietly pleased with the end result.
