Collection: Jellyfish

Jellyfish evolved with no real plan, no fixed destination, just layers of colour, texture and movement gradually finding their own way.

I built up different shades of blue to create a deep, textured underwater feel, with the jellyfish drifting quietly through the space. There’s something fascinating about them. No brain, no heart, yet they’ve survived for millions of years, moving with the currents and responding to the world around them through instinct and rhythm.

That idea became part of the painting itself. Instead of overthinking where it was going, I simply kept responding to what was happening on the canvas.

For me, Jellyfish is a reminder that we don’t always need to have everything figured out. Sometimes you can loosen your grip, trust your instincts and just go with the flow.
